Try a Paint Colour

See the colour on your actual walls before you buy a tin.

What it does

A paint chip lies. Colour behaves completely differently across a whole wall, under your light, next to your floor — which is why the third tin is a rite of passage. This puts the colour on your actual walls first.

How to use it

  1. 1Photograph the room in daylight if you can.
  2. 2Name the colour or the paint reference.
  3. 3Choose the finish and which surfaces to paint.

Questions

Can I use a specific paint name?
Yes. Named colours from the major ranges are recognised.
Does it repaint the trim too?
Only if you choose it. Walls, walls and ceiling, an accent wall, or trim and doors.
