What it does
Most disappointing decks are simply too narrow to hold a table with the chairs pulled out. Seeing it furnished, at the size it will actually be, is how that gets caught before the timber is ordered.
How to use it
- 1Photograph the area from the house door.
- 2Say what has to fit — a six-seat table, loungers, both.
- 3Choose the surface material and direction.
Questions
- Will it show the real size?
- It works from your photo, so a narrow deck reads narrow. That is the point.
- Can it show built-in seating?
- Yes, and on anything under 10ft deep it is usually the better answer.
