What it does
A pool takes a decision that cannot be reversed, in a space most people cannot picture accurately. Placing it into the actual yard shows what it leaves behind more usefully than a plan does — which is normally the real question.
How to use it

- Is it dimensionally accurate?
- It is scaled to the yard in the photo, not surveyed. Use it to judge proportion and position.
- Can it show the surround?
- Yes — coping, paving and planting are part of the render.
